This is your third Quest and you are going to reflect on online learning. Follow the steps below to create a presentation and upload the file to your File Space.
Face-to-face online class: A face-to-face online class is the teacher and the student are always in the class together.
Hybrid online class: Hybrid or Blended are names commonly used to describe courses in which some traditional face-to-face seat time has been replaced by online learning activities.
I Can Statements
- self-assess my skills and strengths needed for online learning
- list the characteristics of a successful online learner
1. Create a presentation (using PowerPoint, Prezi, Google Presentations) about online learning that answers the following questions:
Which class would you choose? (face to face, hybrid, or 100% online?) Explain your choice.
Do you feel that online learning is a good fit for a student like you? Why or why not?
Look back at the six characteristics. Which of these are your strengths? Which of these are weaknesses? Reference your pros and cons graphic organizer that you created in Quest two.
2. Save your presentation and share it with your teacher. Your teacher may have you present your project to the class.
