The ISTE Standards for Students (2016) "are designed to empower student voice and ensure that learning is a student-driven process of exploration, creativity and discovery no matter where they or their teachers are in the thoughtful integration of ed tech."

The categories include

  1. Empowered Learner
  2. Digital Citizen
  3. Knowledge Constructor
  4. Innovative Designer
  5. Computational Thinker
  6. Creative Collaborator
  7. Global Collaborator

Our 21things4students educational team has worked hard to provide FREE resources to help teachers implement and integrate these standards.

The chart shown below (and Google document linked here) is devoted to focusing on the skills identified and providing links to Free online resources (where available) for the K-5 classroom.

You are invited to suggest additions to add to our chart, to help us build a dynamic resource that is relevant for the K-5 classroom.

We have also provided a link on the right side-bar to the "Shorecrest Preparatory School" scope and sequence document identifying prerequisite technology skills.
