Steps

1. Learn more by working with a partner, small group, or as a class to complete this QR Code Breakout Activity.

2. Next, learn how to create a QR code so that it can be read by a phone or other portable mobile device. There are several sites where you can create a QR code, that you found on the Step 1 page. Use one of those, or try one of these sites to create a QR code. Think about creating one for a website, business card, phone number or something for your birthday list.

3. Select one of the two activities below or check with your teacher.

THE BEST GIFT IDEAS

A suggested class activity is for each individual to figure out what is the most popular item others your age would like to purchase. You can survey the students in your class or do a search on the Internet.

Decide on an item you feel is the most desired and locate a site that has a description of the item and shows where you can purchase it as well as the price. You may have to create one or more QR codes. Take a photo or screenshot of your QR code (s).

Create a Favorites Choice Board

Make a copy to your own Google Drive or download the 2.Q3 QR Choice Board slide template file as Microsoft PowerPoint.

Follow the directions to add your name on slide 2 and 4, and create your own Favorites QR Code Choice Board to share with your classmates.
